I got neons in my basement, the compartiments should be sealed from intruders.

Yet I got tons of dead flies in there and I don't know how the hell they get there. I know lights attract bugs, but it doesn't explain how they get there. Any explaination?

They crawl in through the drop ceiling and lay there eggs up there. They then hatch and move to the warmest spot which is the light.
